University of Greenwich’s “Generator” nominated for the Education Leader of the Year

The Generator has been nominated for the Education Leader of the Year at the 2023 Foundervine Changemaker Awards. The Foundervine Awards gather the UK’s best entrepreneurs, industry leaders and educators to highlight excellence in entrepreneurship and innovation. The awards celebrate leaders who have a big impact on their community and the future of entrepreneurship.

It’s a huge achievement for the team who work hard to deliver great events, mentors and new opportunities to students. This year alone they have reached some great milestones:

1247 students attended their events.
£86,500 of seed funding was raised by student/ graduate entrepreneurs supported by the Generator.
32 Jobs have been created by student businesses set up at the Generator.
99% of attendees to their events would recommend the programmes to a friend.
Students spent 7500 hours at Generator events last year.
