University of Helsinki: A pop-up vaccination point to open in the Kaisa House library

The City of Helsinki will open a pop-up vaccination point at Guidance Corner in the Kaisa House library, where coronavirus vaccines will be available on weekdays from 17 to 22 September. All University of Helsinki students, regardless of their place of residence, are welcome at the vaccination point to get their first or second jab.

“Vaccination coverage remains fairly low among the student age group, affecting our capacity to increase contact instruction and otherwise open the University. That’s why it would be great to see students get vaccinated now that we’ve tried to make it easy,” Vice-Rector
Tom Böhling
says, offering encouragement.

The vaccination point will open on Friday, 17 September at 11.00. Anyone can get vaccinated at the pop-up point without an appointment. The point will be open on weekdays from 11.00 to 15.00. The point is located at Guidance Corner in the lobby of the Kaisa House library, which is accessible from Fabianinkatu (Fabianinkatu 30).

The University of Helsinki recommends getting vaccinated against coronavirus.

Please bring with you your identity card or Kela card. Be prepared to remain at the point for at least 15 minutes of monitoring after being vaccinated.
