University of Mannheim: Graduation ceremonies of the Mannheim Faculty of Social Sciences again in presence format
For the first time in three years, the graduation ceremonies of the Faculty of Social Sciences took place in a face-to-face format on the campus of the University of Mannheim. The graduating class of 2021/22 was honored in the presence of family and friends. “This graduation ceremony is a very special celebration because for the first time since the beginning of the Corona pandemic we can resume the tradition of the ceremony with a personal farewell. I congratulate all graduates of the Faculty of Social Sciences on their successful studies and wish them all the best for their future,” announced Prof. Dr. Michael Diehl, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. As part of the celebrations, the doctorates and graduates of the master’s degree courses were honored on Thursday afternoon and those of the bachelor’s degree courses were honored on Friday afternoon. This year, the faculty presented 19 awards for outstanding achievements, three of them to young academics and 16 to students.
