Professor Robert Van de Noort, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading, said: “It is good to see the University of Reading recognised once again for its strength across a broad range of subjects, including the arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences.
“It is wonderful to have two subject areas named in the global top 100, with Physical Sciences moving into that category for the first time since 2018, and Education consolidating its place in the top 100 for a second year running. A lot of hard work goes into improving and maintaining subject positions in global rankings, so my thanks go to staff and students for their continued efforts.”
