University of São Paulo: Identification card will have information on vaccination of the university community

To facilitate access for professors, students and technical and administrative staff to the University’s facilities, the USP community has yet another option to prove the vaccination schedule against covid-19.

From now on, it is possible to include proof of vaccination and possible booster doses in the University’s Computer Services Portal and the data will be incorporated into USP’s electronic identification card (e-Card).

Starting in the 2022 academic year, USP undergraduate and graduate classes will be offered face-to-face. At graduation, classes will start on March 14; in the postgraduate program, the start of activities is defined in the specific calendar of each Master’s and Doctoral program at the units.

It is also expected that the classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices and other spaces of the University will once again have 100% occupancy.

“The inclusion of information in the e-Card represents yet another option to facilitate the access of the community to USP’s facilities, especially in places of great circulation, such as university restaurants and sports centers”, explains the Information Technology superintendent ( STI), João Eduardo Ferreira.

To register, the user must access the USP Computational Services Portal , with their USP number and unique password. Then, access the My Personal Data > Covid-19 Vaccination menu, inform the data of each of the doses, save the data attaching the respective vouchers and forward for validation.

After validation of the registration, which must be done by the undergraduate and graduate commissions of the units, in the case of students, and by the Department of Human Resources, in the case of professors and technical and administrative employees, the information will be incorporated into the e-Card USP.
