University of São Paulo: Popular courses seek volunteer teachers to help young students

Popular courses play an important role in helping young people who are in a state of economic and social vulnerability to fulfill their dream of entering a university. Many of these courses were created and are maintained by USP students who work on a voluntary basis. Now, they are looking for other volunteers to help in this work, check them out below:

Flavi USP Social Cursinho – has vacancies for teachers in the face-to-face class and for the distance education class in Mathematics subjects; Portuguese (grammar and literature); Redaction; Physics; Biology; Chemistry; History; Geography; current affairs; Spanish; Philosophy sociology. Cursinhos Populares Elza Soares – organizes pre-university preparation classes on Saturdays, from 8 am to 2:30 pm, for face-to-face classes and through the Google Meet platform, as well as several other political-cultural activities during the week such as conversation circles, tutoring, training policy for teachers. It also has a psychological support front, which offers on-call reception for all course members.
