A new podcast series which takes a closer look at what is happening in Glasgow City Innovation District is now available to download.
Glasgow City Innovation District is a hub for entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration which builds on Scotland’s rich tradition of scientific excellence and industry.
The ‘Door to the District’ podcast, hosted by broadcaster Catriona Shearer, provides a new way for people to interact, engage and learn more about the District and the people who work there.
Situated in the heart of Glasgow City Centre, the District is home to many innovative companies and organisations who’ve located here to nurture and accelerate growth, improve productivity, and access world-class research and technology from the University.
Behind the scenes
The ten-episode podcast series brings together ambitious and forward-thinking people who are taking on societal and global challenges and driving inclusive economic growth in the district which encompasses Merchant City, Glasgow’s birthplace.
Taking the audience behind the scenes of the Innovation District, the podcast will look at bold enterprise and cutting-edge research across industries, from space and 5G & advanced communications to quantum. Every episode features leaders and academics who are working in and around the District towards an adaptable, accessible and sustainable future.
