University of Tokyo Professor selected as AAAS Fellow
Professor Keisuke Goda from the Department of Chemistry in UTokyo’s Graduate School of Science was elected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Founded in 1848, AAAS is an interdisciplinary organization with a long history of fostering cooperation among scientists, protecting scientific freedom, and contributing to science communication for the benefit of society. The AAAS Fellows are distinguished individuals with outstanding achievements in scientific research, education, and public communication. Among them are numerous Nobel laureates and opinion leaders from around the world.
Professor Goda was elected as an AAAS Fellow “for outstanding contributions to the field of biophotonics, particularly for the development of ultrafast optical imaging and spectroscopy for solving diverse biomedical problems.”
