University of Tyumen: New UTMN Project to Support Migrant Families

The University of Tyumen has won a grant from the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs. UTMN will develop a system of educational activities to help migrant families better integrate into the Russian sociocultural environment.

Elena Tumakova, UTMN Vice-Rector, comments:

“It is a big challenge for the university to implement such a project. We are developing a solution for the whole country. The program will make for the integration of migrant families across Russia. Our most experienced professionals will work with the foreign citizens.”

The program will include a mix of classic and conceptually new activities, such as Weekend School for Migrant Children, Adaptation Courses for Migrant Parents, Courses for Teaching Staff, Olympiads for Schoolchildren and Students, etc.
