The University of Warwick has been ranked as being in top 6% of universities globally, according to the Times Higher World University Rankings.
The assessment placed Warwick at 106 out of 1,904 institutions across 108 countries.
The table is based on 13 performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
The Times Higher Global rankings follow on from Top 10 ratings in Guardian University Guide (9th), The Times Good University Guide (10th) and The Daily Mail Good University Guide (7th).
The latest National Student Survey also rated Warwick in the top three universities in the Russell Group across all question groups.
Professor Michael Scott, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Warwick, said: “As a truly global, university with partnerships all over the world and a student community made up of people from over 140 countries, this latest ranking recognises our deep commitment to international collaboration.
“This success reflects the strength, diversity and talent of our staff and student communities, our research and teaching excellence, as well as our success in developing strong, long-term relationships with institutions in Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas.”
