University of Warwick: University of Warwick sees strong performance in Knowledge Exchange Framework results

Warwick is scored within a large cluster of high quality, research-intensive universities with a high calibre of STEM and medical offerings, and well-established public sector and industry partnerships.

Alongside Warwick in this cluster are many of England’s leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, King’s, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, London Business School, and Bristol.

Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Warwick, said: “The continuation of the KEF data offers an important indicator as to our understanding of Warwick’s broader impact on key sectors locally, regionally and nationally.

“I am very pleased to see Warwick’s strong performance in a number of categories, not least being in the top 20% of universities within Cluster V for public and community engagement.

“Warwick’s overall economic impact in the West Midlands equates to over £1.15 billion per year. Our continued success going forward is underpinned by the effective growth and maintenance of our world class partnerships.”
