University of Wollongong Liverpool Campus Holds Inaugural Summer Jobs Fair
The University of Wollongong’s (UOW) Liverpool Campus held its inaugural Summer Jobs Fair, bringing together industry partners and students for a day of networking, career opportunities, and professional development.
The event had over 200 students in attendance and presented an outstanding opportunity for students to engage with potential employers offering casual jobs, internships, and graduate roles.
Students were able to access free professional headshots for their LinkedIn profiles, providing them with a valuable tool to enhance their online presence.
UOW Pro Vice-Chancellor (Health-Sydney Campuses), Professor Louise Hickman, commended the event and the strong support received from the local community.
“The inaugural Summer Jobs Fair was a fantastic initiative that brought together students, employers, and our wider community,” Professor Hickman said.
“The turnout of over 200 students shows the value and need for events like this. The involvement of local industry partners played a key role in making the event a success, and their commitment to supporting our students’ career development is truly commendable.
“UOW Liverpool collaborates to meet community, student, and industry needs and is proud to continue fostering strong connections between our students and the community, supporting them in building meaningful careers post-graduation.”
