University Polytechnic observes ‘Swacchta Pakhwada’

Aligarh, September 9: The University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) today observed the ‘Swacchta Pakhwada’ and ‘Swatch Bharat Day’ by cleaning smart-classrooms and other areas of the Polytechnic.

A lecture on “Garbage cleaning systems in public spaces” was also delivered on the occasion by Dr Arshad Husain (Associate Professor, Civil Engineering Section, University Polytechnic) in which he discussed the latest technology being used for Solid Waste Management.

Mr Santosh Kumar Sharma (PCS, Nagar Ayukt, Aligarh) attended the function as the Chief Guest. Dr Ramakant Ram (Executive Engineer, Nagar Nigam, Aligarh) and Dr Khalid Zameer Qureshi (Principal, University Polytechnic) were also present on the occasion.
