University of Sheffield, UK inviting applications for BSc Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science

The University of Sheffield, UK is inviting applications for BSc Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science course starting in September 2018.

Students will get the chance to investigate how AI is used in speech recognition, language processing and robotics. Core computer science and software engineering topics are combined with more specific AI topics. Some of the course is dedicated to the related areas of neuroscience, psychology and philosophy. In the third year, students carry out a research project linked to AI research already underway in the Department.

Graduates of Sheffield’s BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science are well placed to work on cutting-edge applications such as the semantic web, machine learning from massive data sets, robotics, speech and language technology, and the next generation of computer games.

Eligibility-The University requires at least 75% in maths in standard 12 for BSc/BEng courses and 80% for Computer and/with Maths courses BSc/BEng courses.

International students need overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or an equivalent English language qualification.
