University Women’s Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University organized Hands-on training programme

Aligarh: The University Women’s Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University organized a two -day online workshop / Hands-on training of Pidilite to rekindle the passion and develop a wide range of innovative ideas after learning different arts and techniques.

Dr Salma Shaheen (Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic) organized the workshop / Hands-on training for the students of Diploma Costume Design and Dress Making Section.

The resource person Ms Shahana Anjum (Expert teacher, Pidilite) demonstrated the different arts and techniques that include clay art, sun art, stone work and different textures in a very interesting way. She explained that students can expand their talent in the field of fashion and interior designing by using these techniques.

 

Dr Sheeba Manzoor (Convener) in her welcome address highlighted the programme objectives. More than 38 participants attended the workshop and prepared the creative articles.

Ms Sadia Naim (Convener) and Ms Ikra Salim conducted the session while Mrs Fauzia Khan (Coordinator) presented the concluding remarks and proposed vote of thanks.
