University Women’s Polytechnic Hosts Skill Development Workshop on PCB Designing
Aligarh: The University Women’s Polytechnic at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), in partnership with the Polytechnic RoboClub, organized a two-day hands-on training program titled Skill Development: PCB Designing. This initiative aimed to equip students with essential PCB design skills, fostering self-employment opportunities in the electronics sector.
The training covered aspects of PCB design using EAGLE software, highlighting its vital role in electronic circuit implementation. The sessions were led by Megha Pachauri (B.Tech. final year, Electronics Engineering), Ayesha Bano (B.Tech. 3rd year, Electronics Engineering), and Rabiya Hasan Lari (B.Tech. 3rd year, Computer Engineering), who provided practical experience in hardware design.
Dr. Salma Shaheen, Principal of the University Women’s Polytechnic, in her welcome address encouraged participants to apply the fundamentals of electronic circuits in PCB design. More than forty Diploma in Engineering students engaged in both theoretical and practical sessions.
Dr. Mohd Ajmal Kafeel, Convener of the program, extended a vote of thanks, and Dr. Shahbaz Hussain, Dr. M Amir Baig, Mr. M Kashif, and Ms. Shira Moin were present to support the event.
