UNSW Global scholarships to help school leavers reach their potential

 

New Delhi: The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Global has announced scholarships for high-achieving Indian students enrolling for UNSW Programs–Foundation Studies or UNSW Diploma–in the academic session beginning July 2019.

These merit scholarships are part of Australia’s leading research and teaching university’s efforts to enable international students discover and reach their full potential in their chosen areas.

The scholarships ranging between AUD 5,000 to AUD 7,500 shall be offered to students who have either secured admission to or are applying online for a UNSW Foundation Studies or a UNSW Diploma program before April 30, 2019.

Students must meet the minimum academic criteria for their school results from Indian School Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate Examination, or International Baccalaureate stream. Students must show proficiency in English language (IELTS exam) at prescribed levels for different foundation programs. The Foundation Studies Program series, ranging between 4 to 15 months of study, lets international students start their global journey by overcoming their deficiency with confidence. During the course of their study students will be equipped with the academic foundations, study skills and English proficiency required for success at UNSW Sydney.

The Diploma Program has been especially designed for those international students who are just a shade below the cut off parameters for the regular Science or Engineering programs. Post successful one year of study, Indian students can directly move to the second year of engineering or science degree program.
