UNSW Sydney Focuses On The LinkedIn Connect At Its India Open Day

Mumbai: The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, known for their world-class academics and graduates with a high employability quotient are hosting the second edition of its annual India Open Day (IOD) 2019 with a aim to further strengthen their association with Indian students and parents. The exciting roadshow is being conducted across four major cities of India – Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore.
Under the theme ‘What Makes You Employable’, the prestigious Australian research university aims to provide students across India, the opportunity to experience life at UNSW Sydney, along with guidance to prepare them for lucrative and long-term career prospects upon completion of their courses. The experts guide these students in creating, and subsequently updating their LinkedIn profiles, to best reflect their abilities and strengths in order to attract the recruiters and companies that are best aligned with their interest. As employability has been the core of the university at large, this zone continues to be a beneficial experience for students. The event will witness over 20 UNSW academicians who help aspirants and students in identifying their ideal career path, enhance their employability quotient and understand the future prospects of their chosen vocation. Students get to experience UNSW Sydney’s sprawling campus, while its expert and supportive faculty from diverse streams will provided the necessary insight into its plethora of robust undergraduate, postgraduate, and research disciplines.
The IOD features interactions with the university’s expert faculty belonging to a diverse range of disciplines like — Engineering, Business, Art and Design, Arts and Social Sciences, Science, Medicine, Law, Built Environment, and more.
