UNVEILING CREATIVITY: JD DESIGN AWARDS 2024, BANGALORE INTERIOR DESIGN EXHIBITION AT KARNATAKA CHITRAKALA PARISHATH
Bengaluru: The JD Design Awards Interior Design Exhibition Bangalore 2024 is set to take place on the 8th and 9th of June at the prestigious Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. This two-day event will showcase the innovative talents of interior designers, offering a platform for students, professionals, and industry enthusiasts to connect and celebrate creativity in design.
This event promises a vibrant exchange of ideas and inspiration, highlighting cutting-edge projects from emerging designers from JD School of Design and the JD Institute of Fashion Technology.
Attendees will include prominent brands, esteemed architects, interior designers, and industry associations, including ADI, Furniture Fitting Skill Council, Indian Green Building Council, Ethos, Livspace, Medini, Adebeo, Bonito, Humanscale, Eco Plaster, Mahendra Decor Walls, FLIP AR, Antrik, Tor Professional, The Nine Woods, Wood Shaala, Paarkhi, Ocean of Design, Outdoor Connections, Pidilite, and Wall Queen Interiors. Media professionals, influencers and a supportive audience of parents and students will also be present.
The event will kick off with an inaugural ceremony, featuring the lighting of the lamp by distinguished guests such as Mr Partha Sarathy SJ, Founder, and Design Director at Ocean of Design; Ms Smitha Jain, Design Manager at Pidilite; Ms Megha Satish, Co-Founder & Creative Director of Kreatr; Dr Rakesh Partner at A3E Studio; Mr Nealesh Dalal, Managing Trustee of JD School of Design and JD Institute of Fashion Technology; Ms Sandra Agnes D’Souza, Director, South, JD Institute of Fashion Technology; and Mr Pramod Adhikari, Chief Mentor, JD Institute of Fashion Technology
The exhibition’s core focus will be technological advancements in the interior design field, showcasing a harmonious blend of fiction and the future. The young interior designers will pres- ent sustainable practices and innovative solutions, highlighting the industry’s evolution. The exhibits will feature a range of products, from home automation and the latest trends in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to future-forward designs.
The exhibition will also provide an exclusive networking space for industry experts to connect with young designers, offering potential career opportunities. Additionally, Mr Partha Sarathy SJ, on behalf of the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council, will award skill certification to students under the NIPUN scheme and Tor Professional, our o cial learning partner, will also certify the students with participation certificates.

Mr Dalal further emphasised the importance of staying at the forefront of the techno- logical revolution in design. “Young designers should embrace change and innovate with enthusiasm. I am proud to be part of this transformative era,” he stated.
The JD Design Awards 2024 Bangalore Interior Exhibition will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 1 PM on Sunday, inviting all design enthusiasts to explore and appreciate the future of interior design.
