UPES CANCELS ENTRANCE EXAMS FOR B. TECH AND B. PHARMACY PROGRAMS; ADMISSIONS TO BE BASED ON CLASS 12 BOARD MARKS
Dehradun: UPES, India’s leading multi-disciplinary & specialization focused University; today announced that UPESEAT 2020 (Engineering Aptitude Test) and UPESPAT 2020 (Pharmacy Aptitude Test) stands cancelled. The decision has been taken in light of the pandemic situation and keeping in mind the safety of students and parents. The University also issued revised admission guidelines, according to which admissions for B.Tech. & B.Pharma programs for AY2020 will be done based on 10+2 central/state board results.
Commenting on the development, Dr Sunil Rai, Vice-Chancellor, UPES, stated, “Well-being of the students and their parents is of prime concern for us. Therefore, we have decided to cancel UPESEAT and UPESPAT this year. However, we will continue with our admission process and have made appropriate changes to our policies to ensure streamlined enrolments based on merit.”

25% SCHOLARSHIP FOR FEMALE STUDENTS
To encourage more female students to continue their higher education after class 12th, UPES is providing them 25% scholarship on tuition fee for the complete program duration. Female students applying for under-graduate and post-graduate courses in the academic year 2020 can avail this scholarship.
FEE CONCESSION FOR UTTARAKHAND DOMICILE STUDENTS
Being a state legislated University, UPES is providing 33% fee concession to all eligible students who are bonafide residents of the State of Uttarakhand.
