UPES students get access to over 3600 courses on “Coursera For Campus’ platform
– Offers credit based learning by integrating courses as part of the curriculum
New Delhi: In an endeavor to offer its students some of the most relevant and future-focused learning modules, UPES today announced its partnership with Coursera, the world’s leading online learning platform. Under this collaboration, UPES will have access to the ‘Coursera for Campus’ platform that will allow its students to choose from over 3,600 courses from 200 of the world’s most renowned universities and industry partners such as Google, IBM, BCG, Amazon Web Services etc. With “Coursera for Campus” UPES will be able to better prepare its students for the dynamic job landscape and equip them with skills required to thrive in the knowledge economy.
Through the partnership, UPES aims to offer its graduates an unrestricted learning experience that allows them access to courses and academicians from across the globe in an asynchronous learning environment. The university’s larger vision through the partnership with Coursera is to ensure its graduates are employable in an ever-changing world.
UPES has partnered with Coursera to work towards its mission of fostering an outcome-based education system for its students that includes curriculum expansion to meet the needs of the future. Through this partnership, UPES will provide its learners with a holistic blended learning experience and access to high quality content from some of the best global universities and professors. The content will be made part of curricular learning, electives and other self-development modules. Students will be duly credited and will be awarded course completion certificates for each course completed, at no additional fee.
As a part of this alliance, the students will not only gain access to high impact technical courses like Data in Database, Linux Server Management and Security, Object Oriented Programming in Java, Service-Oriented Architecture, Software Development Processes and Methodologies but also to some of the most in-demand and popular courses on the platform like Blockchain Basics, Programming for Everybody and AI for Everyone.
