upGrad forays into Annual Licensing Model for Business Continuity; To impact 10Lakh working professionals in 24 months

Mumbai : upGrad for Business, the B2B arm of South Asia’s largest higher edtech, upGrad, today announced the launch of a new business solution, upLevel – to provide corporates with an organisation-wide on-demand learning capability. Designed keeping in mind the evolving industry requirements and elevated learning paths, the newly launched L&D solution will help the workforce stay abreast of evolving skill sets and trends, thus being future-ready to drive business outcomes.

Under the new upLevel program, corporates will have access to upGrad’s 100+ course portfolio that will enable their employees to upskill themselves based on the current skill demands in the industry. Employers stand to benefit not only from employee benchmarking on critical skills but also from the reduced employee skill obsolescence. They will also enjoy a learning culture dipstick through learning audit, solid learner behaviour analytics, and business value propositions such as budget optimisation, business profitability, employee productivity, and reduction amongst others. Unlike other edtech players, the new upLevel program goes beyond the theory through industry-specific case studies, monthly webinars with industry leaders, domain-specific practice material, and graded assignments.

Commenting on this, Minaxi Indra, President, upGrad for Business, said, “In today’s technology-driven world, an organisation’s capability to upskill its employees creates a sustainable competitive advantage. Our specially curated programs bring a trifecta of toolset, skill-sets, and mind-set gains for corporates. These are available to the workforce on-demand, enabling organisations with a future-driven workforce that is efficient, in-sync with the evolving trends, and delivers impact at scale.”

“We are in active talks with corporates across sectors and on the verge of closing significant corporate partnerships,” she added.

This new launch comes soon after upGrad for Business had recently announced its plans to upskill 1,00,000 women in Data Science, Technology, and Management roles as part of its WISDOM (Women in Science, Data, Organisational behaviour & Management) initiative to help women professionals become career leaders.
