upGrad Jeet announces an additional slot of its JeetCET: NRA CET based Scholarship Test

Delhi: upGrad Jeet, a 100% subsidiary of Asia’s higher edtech major upGrad, announces the third slot of their NRA CET Based Scholarship Test for aspirants who are planning to appear for the yearly competitive exams and secure jobs in the Government sector. JeetCET, NRA CET Based Scholarship Test was launched recently, and the first two slots were successfully conducted on 18th and 25th July, this year. The decision to introduce another slot was inspired by the massive response to the first two slots.

The Government is yet to release the syllabus and paper pattern for the upcoming NRA CET (Common Eligibility Test) in India which is critical for the recruitment of staff to non-gazetted posts in the Central Government, Public Sector banks, and Indian Railways. This in turn, is leading to a lot of confusion around the exam as the aspirants do not have enough reference material. Therefore, upGrad Jeet with its unique value proposition has made an entry to help Govt. job seekers applying for this test, with an extensive exam training as a stepping-stone, which will take them closer to becoming employable.

JeetCET: NRA CET based scholarship test, is an attempt to estimate the expected test pattern and syllabus to give aspirants a direction to prepare better.

Divided into two rounds, learners from the Preliminary round will then appear for Round 2, called the Mains, after which only 3000 learners will be able to make their way to receiving a 6-month subscription of the course for free, while others will receive a 1-month subscription to the NRA CET course. upGrad Jeet has also announced a range of rewards and scholarships amounting to INR 151 crores to acknowledge the hard work of learners, based on the overall potential they demonstrate during the Scholarship Test.

Commenting on this, Ritesh Raushan, CEO, upGrad Jeet, explained, “Mock tests are vital for cracking the competitive exams, as they help boost confidence, identify weaknesses, and prepare learners better. Currently, there are no easily available reference papers for the youngsters to be able to prepare for the NRA CET, and therefore, this mock test will be a game-changer and will become a one-of-a-kind guide for thousands of aspirants who look at building a future in Govt. sector.

“After seeing the overwhelming response for the first two slots, our belief in this concept was reinforced. But we also realised that there are many more aspirants who would not benefit from this experience, as they are unaware or could not register on time. Taking this into account, we decided to introduce another round of Prelims”, he added.

During the first two rounds, JeetCET received around 2.5 lakh registrations. Apart from the two rounds, the platform offers multiple engagement modules in between to help learners develop confidence on the quality and the delivery aspect. These activities include QoD (question of the day), quizzes, etc. and contextual/infographic video content for laying stronger subject foundations. Over 50 thousand prospects have been actively engaging through Tests and Quizzes, on the platform.

Arti Banjara, SSC CGL Aspirant, “I came to know of upGrad Jeet from the internet and from then on, I’ve been practicing actively for my test through their initiatives. I gave JeetCET and it helped immensely in various ways. I got a chance to compete among lakhs of students. Apart from these, upGrad Jeet also offers quizzes & question of the day in which I’ve been involved on an everyday basis. All these activities together have catalysed my confidence. These things made me go for the paid subscription course and I’m pretty sure my preparation is only getting stronger enough to ace my final exam.”

The upcoming slot of the Prelim rounds for the NRA CET based Scholarship Test is scheduled for August 8th, this year, which leaves a window for aspirants to make the most of it and move closer to achieving their career aspirations.
