UPMC Ranks As One of World’s Most Ethical Companies

For the fifth consecutive year, UPMC has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute — an organization focused on defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices.

UPMC is one of 135 honorees recognized for 2023, and one of only two organizations recognized in the integrated health care systems category. The companies included in Ethisphere’s assessment span 19 countries and 46 industries.

To be recognized on the list, organizations are assessed on company culture, environmental and social practices, ethics and compliance activities, governance, diversity and initiatives that support a strong value chain.
