UQ subjects rank among the world’s best
The University of Queensland has ranked 37th in the world in the 2023 National Taiwan University (NTU) World University Ranking, reflecting UQ’s research capabilities.
The University featured in the global top 50 in 13 subjects, including Environment/Ecology, Agricultural Sciences and Energy Science and Engineering.
UQ was the top ranked university in Australia in subjects including Agricultural Sciences, Environment/Ecology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Environmental Science and Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering.
The NTU World University Ranking evaluates the scientific paper performance of the world’s top 800 universities on their overall performance across 27 subjects in 6 fields.
