Ural Federal University: 514 Students Tested Their Technopreneurship Aptitude

The Ural Federal University has completed its traditional online test of students’ skills in technological entrepreneurship. 514 students of the university expressed interest in the test. Especially relevant testing seemed to students of Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems, Institute of New Materials and Technologies, Graduate School of Economics and Management, Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture and Institute of Physics and Technology.

“It’s good to see that interest in online diagnostics is as high as it was last year. This means that many students see themselves as technological entrepreneurs and want to try their hand at it. Those students who demonstrated the highest results are waiting for the exciting business game “Build a Company/Sell a Company,” during which students can once again check whether technological entrepreneurship is their vocation,” said Nadezhda Terlyga, Deputy of Vice Rector of UrFU.

Business game “Build a Company / Sell a Company” will be held on May 11 from 10:00 to 18:00 in the co-working room Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems (R-044) at 32 Mira Street.

The best participants of the business game will be interviewed, the winner of which will go for an internship at TechnoSpark (New Moscow). The internship will last for nine months. There the student will work on a technological startup, which can later be protected as a graduate qualification work. The flight and the internship are paid by UrFU. The educational process of the winner of the competitive selection will not be affected, since an individual curriculum will be drawn up for him or her.
