Ural federal university: Call for Applications for Rossotrudnichestvo Scholarships Is Officially Open

On January 20 the call for admission of foreign citizens to Russian universities begins! Apply at education-in-russia.com and choose UrFU, the Top-10 university in Russia!

What is the deal about? Government of Russia annually provides a select number of international applicants with scholarchips.For the first time, foreign students living abroad who want to study in Russia will be able to apply by filling out the electronic form on the website of the state information system “Education in the Russian Federation for Foreigners” (GIS ORFI).

Deadline: February 20, 2021.

GIS ORFI is a new service, a “single window” that will provide a completely transparent process: from filing an application, selection to support, including migration.The selection will take place in two stages.The first stage is carried out by Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices, Russian embassies and foreign missions (registration is done at education-in-russia.com, redirection to the system is possible at edu.rs.gov.ru/ and future-in-russia.com/).

Based on the test results, a list of candidates is formed according to the number of scholarships allocated for your country.The second stage of selection is carried out by Russian universities evaluating the applications.Please note that foreign applicants must apply through a Russian foreign office in their home country.You can find the contacts of all Rossotrudnichestvo offices on the Rossotrudnichestvo website (rs.gov.ru/ru/contacts).

(!) If there is NO Rossotrudnichestvo representatives in your country, the selection is carried out by the diplomatic mission, normally, by the Russian Embassy officials.
