Ural Federal University: Exhibition on the History of the University’s International Life Opened in the Heart of the City

Today the exhibition “UrFU: 101 years – 101 countries” dedicated to the 101th anniversary of the university has opened in the center of Ekaterinburg by UrFU international students and international office staff members. On Lenin Avenue, between Vainera Street and Sakko-Vantsetti Street, the exhibition is presented by 34 stands illustrating the development between UrFU and different countries of the world. The exhibition tells about the most important and bright international events in the life of the university. International students of Ural Federal University took part in the installation of the exhibition.

“UrFU: 101 years – 101 countries” Exhibition shows that the 101-year history of the university is full of various international events in the field of science and education, culture and sports. UrFU is actively and comprehensively developing, holding events of world significance, strengthening ties with foreign partners and attracting students from new countries – in the year of the 101st anniversary of the university the number is 101.

“The exhibition is very informative, interesting and important for us! We, as international students, are interested to know how relations between UrFU and our motherlands have developed”, commented Sabina Smetanovskaya, student from Kazakhstan and Chairman of the United Nations Student Organization.
