Ural Federal University: Germany Days at the University: Participants Make Predictions until 2050

With the Partner Information Exchange, a platform for exchanging contacts between participants, and a lecture on Arctic research, the Alumni Conference of German Educational Programs began at Ural Federal University.

On October 24, the participants were greeted by Victor Koksharov, Rector of Ural Federal University, and Andreas Hoeschen, head of the DAAD Moscow office. On October 25, the official start was given by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in Russia Géza Andreas von Geyr.

The program of the forum includes eight workshops, dedicated to the development of social culture, German-Russian youth exchange and career prospects of young scientists. In addition, the participants – graduates of the scholarship programs of German academic foundations – will construct a forecast of Russia’s development until 2050.
