Ural Federal University: Iraqi Student Participates in the 12th Dialogue for the Future Conference

The Dialogue for the Future conference, organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Fund for Public Diplomacy, was held from December 3 to 9, 2023 in Moscow. Master’s student Mohammed Ihsan Ameen Alnaqeeb participated in the meetings on behalf of the Ural Federal University.

The conference is traditionally organized at the end of each year, and this year it was held for the twelfth time. It brings together experienced participants, including alumni of the Fund’s events and grant events. The aim of this event is to develop a discussion platform to inform young international experts, politicians, scientists, economists, journalists, representatives of think tanks and civil societies from Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries about the position of the Russian Federation on fundamental issues, global agenda, as well as to create an objective image of Russia abroad.

During the program, leading Russian and foreign experts discussed the current situation, the state of international relations and the prospects for creating a common continental space for peace, stability, mutual trust and prosperity in Eurasia. These are the key issues for global security and economic interaction.

Several sessions were held during the period of the conference. They were focused on various topics, including partnership between government and business, AI development and future space discoveries. Traditionally, the main part of the program was a meeting with Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. His lecture was devoted to the foreign policy priorities of the Russian Federation.
