Ural Federal University Ranked Among the Best in Russia

In the new Leiden Ranking, the Ural Federal University was ranked fourth among Russian universities in terms of quality of scientific output. The CWTS Leiden Ranking 2023 differs significantly from many other global rankings. The ranking is based on bibliographic data from the Web of Science database created by Clarivate Analytics.

This is a multi-factor ranking that ranks universities based on their publication activity according to a selection of indicators: scientific impact, collaboration, open access and gender diversity. Publications must be in English, be of the type Article or Review, have one or more authors, and appear in international scientific journals.
