Ural Federal University: Ready for Labor and Defense Festival Took Place at the University
The Ural Federal University held the Ready for Labor and Defense Students and Schoolchildren Festival on March 26-27 to mark the 90th anniversary of the Ural Federal University Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Youth Policy.
870 Ural Federal University students and Ekaterinburg schoolchildren pre-registered for the festival. The university teams of the university and institutes, as well as students of the military training center fulfilled the norms at the festival – both days the students showed brilliant results to get the coveted badge of honor The All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense”.
In the individual competition among young men, Mikhail Bogatyrev from the Institute of Chemical Engineering has gold, Aleksandr Morozov from the Institute of Physics and Technology has silver, and Aleksey Botov from the Institute of New Materials and Technologies has bronze.
Ekaterina Dubinskaya (Institute of Chemical Engineering) became the champion among women. Silver went to Anna Goryanina from the Graduate School of Economics and Management, and bronze went to Ekaterina Popova from the Ural Institute of Humanities.
