Ural Federal University: Selection for the Online Stage of the “I am a Professional” Olympiad Started
The qualifying stage of the Student Olympiad “I am a Professional” has started. Registered participants can remotely perform tasks in their chosen areas until December 26, having previously read the schedule of the stage. Access to the competition can be found in the personal cabinet of the student on the portal of the Olympiad. At the qualifying stage, students have only one attempt to pass the tasks.
“The “I am a Professional” Olympiad is a social elevator that helps build a career. Every student should try his or her hand at these competitions. Regular career events are held within the framework of the Olympiad and prizes are drawn for all participants. It’s fun to participate in the Olympiad,” said Maxim Shnyrev, Head of Division for Continuing Education and Career Guidance at UrFU.
The results of the online qualifying stage will be known in early February 2022. The final stage of the Olympiad will also kick off in February. Participants who have successfully coped with the online selection will receive invitations to it. The final stage will end in late April, and by its results diploma holders will be determined in May.
Depending on their results participants will be able to get: an internship at a big company, benefits when entering graduate or postgraduate programs of leading Russian universities, a cash bonus, a profile in the national database “I am a Professional” which is available to recruiters of big companies, additional points to Rating System.

Participants in the “Material Sciences and Material Technologies”, “Construction”, “Electronics, Radio Engineering and Communication Systems” and “Software Engineering” programs organized by Ural Federal University have a unique opportunity to attend the educational forums to be held in Sochi in February 2022.
