Ural Federal University: Specialized Education and Research Center Students Are the Best in the International Games

International Science Games were held in Yakutia in early July. Nearly 700 school students from 16 countries and 16 regions of Russia took part in them. The games had three key events:The International School on STEAM projects, Yakutia International Science Fair and Tuymaada Olympiad. This year, the work of the International School Scientific Conference-Competition was held on the basis of North-Eastern Federal University in four sections in four sections: “Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Technology”, “Physics, Astronomy and Engineering Sciences”, “Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Chemical Sciences” and “Social and Humanitarian Sciences”.

“We participated in two events: the Tuymaada Olympiad and the International School Scientific Conference-Contest. The students of physics and mathematics classes successfully performed in the Olympiad: three medals in computer science and three in physics,” says Olga Inisheva, Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

At the Olympiad in computer science the best was Artem Kutuzov, he is the absolute winner, took a special prize for the best result of the first day. Artem Abaturov won a silver medal and diploma of the second degree, Egor Golikov got bronze and diploma of the third degree. In physics performed: Dmitry Golynsky won a silver medal and a diploma of the second degree, Rodion Lisin won a bronze medal and a diploma of the third degree.

“At the International School Scientific Conference-Contest, the Specialized Education and Research Center participated only in the “Physics, Astronomy and Engineering Sciences” section. Yulia Igosheva won a bronze medal and a prize of 45 thousand rubles, Dasha Korionova also won a bronze medal and a similar prize. The absolute winner in the “Physics, Astronomy and Engineering Sciences” section was Aleksandr Dumov, he was awarded a gold medal and 100 thousand rubles,” says Olga Inisheva.

According to the results of the II International Science Games the International Computer School of Bucharest (Romania) was awarded with the big scientific cup YISG-2022.
