Ural Federal University strengthens cooperation with China

Cooperation between the Ural Federal University and China will become even more effective due to the strengthening of relations with the Mudanjiang Normal University. A cooperation agreement was signed on the side of the Innoprom exhibition by Dmitry Bugrov, the UrFU First Vice-Rector, and Li Chunjiang, the Rector of the Mudanjiang Normal University.

The parties agreed to work together to develop mutual cooperation in education and science, and to strengthen scientific and methodological ties. It is also planned to expand academic exchanges. The most important area of work will be the development and implementation of joint programs of scientific and educational internships for graduate students, doctoral students, research workers, scientific and pedagogical staff, psychological scientists and managers to improve their qualifications and exchange experience.

The Mudanjiang Normal University was founded in 1958. It is located in the tourist city of Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province, which is famous in China for its picturesque landscape. The total area of the university is 683.5 thousand square meters, and the building area is 328.6 thousand square meters. The total fixed assets of the university are 1.12 billion yuan, of which the total value of teaching and research equipment is 234 million yuan. The university has 21 institutes and five teaching and auxiliary departments. The university has about 19,000 students from China and other countries.
