Ural Federal University Student Honored by Rosmolodezh for Outstanding Contribution to Volunteer Training
On February 16, the regional team of World Youth Festival volunteers met with Yuri Biktuganov, Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region. He presented letters of appreciation to seven recruiters and trainers of the Volunteer Engagement and Training Center for their great personal contribution to the formation of the corps team and the implementation of the training program.
Fedor Taskin, a student of the Ural Institute of Humanities, was awarded a certificate of appreciation from Rosmolodezh, Movement of the First, and the WYFM Directorate for his great contribution to the implementation of the World Youth Festival volunteer training program.
“I’m looking forward to the festival itself! We’re leaving on Wednesday, so I’m starting to get ready. I think that the event will be bright, and large-scale, it will bring a lot of positive emotions. The training of volunteers was completed back in early February. It was a pleasure to train both experienced volunteers and new ones. Everyone has their own experience and expectations. The training session once again confirmed that volunteers in our region are very committed and involved in volunteer activities,” said Fedor.
During the training future volunteers learned more about the festival, its values and goals, objects involved in the event, rules of behavior, and volunteer ethics.
