The students successfully solved six tasks in the following areas: theoretical foundations of electrical engineering, high voltage engineering, relay protection and automation, electrical part of power stations and substations, electrical systems and networks, and power supply. In addition, students took part in a team intellectual game “History of Electric Power Engineering and Beyond” and took second place.
“The guys are extremely talented. They defended the honor of the Ural Power Engineering Institute and the entire Ural Federal University in the most difficult and busy academic period. We are very proud of our students and wish them further success,” the institute noted.
