The spring semester will begin for students and teachers of the Ural Federal University on February 15 in a combined format. The traditional form will alternate with e-learning. UrFU Rector Victor Koksharov signed an order describing the comeback to offline for seminars and labworks.
International students staying abroad will continue to study online according to individual schedules.
“Dear students, it feels great that you can come back to seminars and labworks from February 15. We really missed you. Still, when going to a class, you must wear a mask and disinfect your hands with sanitizers. We want the university to be a safe place. If you are feeling ill, please stay at home these days. University staff are doing their best to ensure that all safety measures work,” – said Rector Koksharov.
Laboratory works, seminars and practical exercises will be conducted in the classrooms of the university. In addition, physical education pairs are organized in the traditional format, with classes mainly on the street. Classes in the traditional form are organized on separate days, or with a three-hour interval between online classes.
