Ural Federal University: University Athletes Won Prizes at the Regional Armwrestling Championship

Six students and three alumni of Ural Federal University won prizes at the Sverdlovsk region championship in arm wrestling. According to the results of the competition, all of them were selected for the regional team and will represent the region at the championship of the Ural Federal District, which will be held on November 18-19.

“Our athletes have good preparation. I am sure that they will perform well at the Ural Federal District championship and will take part in the Russian championship,” says Valery Filin, Ural Federal University armwrestling coach.

The regional competitions were attended by Anton Petrov (first place in the dual and open class), Aleksey Zadiraka (second and third place), Artemiy Maslov (first place in the dual), Denis Kononov (second place), Nikolay Golubev (third place), Aleksandra Schukina (third place), Anna Osintseva (first place), Mikhail Poluyakhtov (first place) and Pavel Lunev (second place).
