Ural Federal University: University Professor’s Book Recognized as Best Scientific Publication

Natalia Kirillova, Doctor of Cultural Studies, Professor, Head of the Department of Cultural Studies and Socio-Cultural Activities at Ural Federal University, became the winner of the “Best Scientific Book 2021” contest. She has been participating in the contest since 2006, and this is her fourth win. The contest is organized by the Foundation for the Development of National Education.

The new book “Medialogy: The Science of the Globalized World” by the professor of UrFU attracted great interest in the scientific and educational community. The book was published by Academic Project Publishing House (Moscow, 2022) in the “University textbook” series. Presentation of the publication Natalia Kirillova held, speaking on September 13-14th with the report at the international scientific-practical conference “Trends and state of development of higher education in the modern world” at the International Innovative University in Sochi. On September 15 the awarding ceremony was held and Kirillova became a laureate in the “Humanities” nomination.
