Ural Federal University: University Student and Three PhD Students Reached the Research Contest Finals
A student and three graduate students of Ural Federal University reached the finals of the VII All-Russian Youth Research Contest and will take part in the “Science of the Future – Science of the Youth” forum. On August 23-26 in Novosibirsk, they will present their research papers in four sections: information technology and mathematics, life sciences and medicine, social sciences, chemistry and chemical technology.
Maria Chikir will talk about the technology of layer-by-layer application of concrete for building structures. Sergey Buynachev will discuss the influence of pH on the formation of zirconium hydroxide. Evgeny Bakhtin will focus on precarization of labor. Ali Sadek will describe age-related changes of cells in rats.
Forum participants will attend lectures by international scientists, master classes, and training programs. One of the central events is a contest of research works, in which students and graduate students from different regions of Russia will present their works to the authoritative scientific jury. This year more than 2.5 thousand applications were received for the contest. 345 students and postgraduate students made it to the finals, four of which are UrFU students.
