Ural Federal University: University to Open Preparatory Departments in Mongolia and India
The Ural Federal University plans to open the branches of Preparatory Department for Foreign Students in Mongolia and India. This year, such branch in Egypt graduated sixty students, said Victor Koksharov, the Ural Federal University rector, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“UrFU sees the Preparatory Department as a way to prepare applicants not only for universities in Ekaterinburg, but also for Russia as a whole. Studying Russian in a home country gives an opportunity to adapt to the language before you start your studies, an important factor is saving money. Studying at a branch of the university assumes a large conversion of students to students. In particular, we are considering opening a preparatory department in Mongolia and India,” noted Koksharov.
