Ural Federal University: Young Internationalist School Started at University
The Young Internationalist School started on October 9 at the Faculty of International Relations of the Ural Institute of Humanities of UrFU. Head of the Department Victoria Belyaeva spoke to the participants, who in the future want to become students of the Faculty of International Relations at UrFU, and gave a welcoming speech.
“Attending lectures at the Young Internationalist School will allow the participants to deepen their knowledge and look at the world from different perspectives with an understanding of the processes happening in it. I very much hope that the participants who will study here will be able to understand even more clearly what profession they want to pursue at university. We would like it to be a specialty in the Faculty of International Relations in one of our departments,” Victoria Belyaeva emphasized.
Young Internationalist School lectures will take place at UrFU twice a month. The first lecture was given by Anton Kochnev, Head of the educational program “International Relations and World Politics”. He told the students how to effectively study international relations.
The meetings are not only lecture-based, but also interactive. Training sessions are conducted entirely by current faculty members of the faculty departments. The main task is to introduce future students of international relations to all fields, as well as to help them in choosing their future department and profession.
