UrFU Hosts First Training Session for Future Volunteers of World Youth Festival

On January 28, training of candidates for volunteers of the World Youth Festival 2024 took place on the basis of UrFU “Ural Volunteer Center”. The center was earlier included in the number of volunteer corps for the attraction and selection of WYF 2024 volunteers.

The training participants learned more about the festival, its values and goals, objects involved in the event, rules of behavior and volunteer ethics. The acquired skills were reinforced in the format of games, brainstorming sessions, and participants also solved problems from volunteer practice. All under the guidance of the coaching unit: certified trainers Fedor Taskin and Tatiana Shonokhova were in charge of the training.

The guests of the training were Denis Protasov, Deputy Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Vladislav Ovchinnikov, Chairman of the Commission for the Development of Education, Science, Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy.
