UrFU Hosts Meeting with Students from Palestine

UrFU hosted a meeting with 6 students from Palestine on the initiative of the Ekaterinburg branch of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society. Representatives of the all-Russian scout movement “Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders” came to meet with the students. Sergey Tushin, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University, was the organizer on the part of UrFU.

The purpose of the meeting on the part of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society was to get acquainted with the Palestinian students, discuss possible assistance in living in Ekaterinburg, studying Russian language and culture. In addition, the students were given food packages.

Currently UrFU provides support to students from Palestine in the form of psychological support and material assistance.
