UrFU: Obninsk Hosts Successful NEW International Youth Nuclear Forum
More than 500 experts and young scientists from 70 countries gathered at the Obninsk NEW International Youth Nuclear Forum held in Obninsk on September 20-23. The Rosatom State Corporation supports the Forum. Representatives of the Ural Federal University also took part in the forum.
At the Rosatom Technical Academy, the delegates discussed global challenges facing the industry, prospects for developing nuclear and related sciences and creating a new system of training and career management for industry specialists. As part of the forum, the students attended scientific readings and were familiarized with reports on the results of the latest research in nuclear physics, as well as educational, sports, and cultural events.
Mridul Farhan Tanvir (Bangladesh), a Master’s student in the Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems, had the opportunity to meet with Kamrul Ahsan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, who attended the opening of the Forum in person.
The Forum was also attended by Ta Van Thuong (Vietnam) and Naba Adila Fath (Indonesia), students of the Ural Power Engineering Institute.
