US based Software Company ‘Adobe’ launched Creative Digital Technology at LPU
Jalandhar: Aiming to drive synergies in creative thinking and technology based learning; America based Software Company Adobe (India) launched Creative Digital Technology at Lovely Professional University. With this launching of Adobe Digital Disha programme, creative cloud software Adobe Spark will be available free of charge to each of the students and staff members at LPU. In particular this launching will be exclusively helpful to LPU Journalism, Mass Communication, Creative Arts’ and students of allied streams. The programme is to help young minds stand apart in the future workforce. This will further encourage students to develop essential skills needed for jobs in the digital era. Head Programs- Education and Skill Development at Adobe (India) Garima Babbar was especially present on this occasion. Through such prestigious co-operations, LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal wants LPU students to make India emerge as a true knowledge economy.
Addressing LPU students, Garima Babbar shared that creativity cuts across communication, collaboration and critical thinking, so that people can push the boundaries of expression and have meaningful impact. On these lines, Adobe Spark will go a long way in enhancing digital literacy- a core pillar of learning. It will open up a range of new possibilities for students and educators to express themselves, excellently. Through it students will learn critical skills needed both in the classroom and when they enter the workforce.
Spark software, which runs in any web or mobile browser, will enable students to express themselves quickly and easily via graphics, web stories and video; to creatively approach their assignments; and, to develop digital portfolios. Teachers can also create digital lesson plans and tutorials easily. Illustrative, each ‘Spark’ application is a self-contained computation that runs user-supplied code to compute a result. As this service is a part of ‘Creative Cloud’, the contents automatically save on the cloud. In fact, the importance of fun and easy-to-use creativity tools inside and outside the classroom is very decisive in present.
Adobe Spark web app syncs with Spark Page, Spark Post and Spark Video iOS (iPhone Operating System) mobile apps. Thus, it allows users to create, edit and share their visual story from any device. Using this one can turn words & images into eye-catching blogs, newsletters & more. Animated Videos can be easily created within minutes and it is also for making reports, presentations, posters and more.
