UTMN: Professor discusses global warming with international colleagues

The goal behind this program is to improve the quality of scientific research, foster knowledge transfer between generations of science leaders, and strengthen cross-cultural communication.

Partnering universities of the project are holding lectures to introduce participants to key issues and aspects of climate change that will be useful for further collaborative research.

Vitaliy Khoroshavin, Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences of the University of Tyumen and the Research Supervisor of the project, gave an online lecture on “Climate change and water resources, dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena”. Participants learned about climate history, the main concepts of climate change, processes preceding global warming, and its potential impact.
