UTMN: UTMN entered top 50 universities
In accordance with the updated international rating published by the Cybermetrics Lab research group, which is part of the National Research Council of Spain, the University of Tyumen continues to demonstrate a high level of scientific activity and presence in the Internet space and contribute as much as possible to open access to knowledge.
Now UTMN is on 2383 positions out of more than 31 thousand universities around the world. UTMN ranks 42nd among 1,054 Russian universities, ahead of such leading universities of the country as St. Petersburg State University, RANEPA, Mendeleev University of chemical technology of Russia, SFU, etc. Tyumen State University is again in a leading position among the universities of the region.
The unique Webometrics rating is characterized by a high dynamic change of values. It is published twice a year and allows you to evaluate the achievements of universities through a comparison of their web content. The rating methodology takes into account webometric and bibliometric indicators: visibility (the number of external networks linking to the institution’s web pages), citation analysis (the number of citations of the best authors) and superiority (the number of citations of articles over a five-year period).
