Utrecht University: Bas Hendriks appointed as member of the Supervisory Board

Bas Hendriks (1970) is financial director at NS Reizigers. He is also a supervisor at the Dutch Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (NCFS) and a member of the Supervisory Board of NS Insurance. He studied Econometrics in Tilburg and previously worked as CFO at NS Stations, CFO at Qbuzz and managing consultant at PwC. Joanne Kellermann, Chair of the Supervisory Board is pleased with the appointment: “Bas Hendriks is an experienced financial expert who is familiar with the complexity of a large organization. This makes him an ideal member of the Audit Committee. He is well known in the Utrecht region and with his experience and personality a valuable asset to our Supervisory Board.”

A vacancy on the Supervisory Board will occur on January 1, 2022, due to the departure of Karin Bergstein, who is stepping down after an eight-year term. The University Council supports the appointment of Bas Hendriks.
